Lending a hand for Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Philanthropy Committee will be assembling bags for the Libbie Mill Library to hand out at their story hours during Henrico CASA's 5th Annual Home for Good event that takes place between April 25 - May 11, 2025. This year's theme for their playhouse event is Enchanted Childhoods, to remind us of what childhood should be about. Each playhouse is designed and built by local professionals.

The bags we assemble will contain postcards, stickers, pinwheels (symbol of child abuse prevention) and other small items. We need 16 volunteers to spend the morning with fellow CREW members! April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and this is a wonderful opportunity for our Chapter to promote the needs of these children and the resources available to families.
